Security
Your birth details, family profiles and conversations are personal. This page explains how VedaSpeak protects them.
Where your data lives
Our primary database is hosted by Supabase in the AWS Mumbai region (ap-south-1), India. Connections to VedaSpeak and to the database are encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
Who can see it
- Every table holding personal data enforces row-level security in the database: each query runs as you, so you can only read and change your own household’s data.
- Private user data is kept separate from the general astrology knowledge base.
- We keep birth details, phone numbers and message text out of our logs and analytics.
- We show no ads and never sell your data.
Signing in
There are no VedaSpeak passwords to steal. You sign in with a one-time 6-digit code sent to your email, which works once and expires, or, where offered, with your Google account. If you sign up on WhatsApp, WhatsApp itself confirms your number, and there is still no password.
Deleting your data
You can download your data or delete your account at any time. See Delete your data.
Reporting a security issue
If you think you have found a vulnerability, please email hello@vedaspeak.com with the subject “Security”. Please do not access other people’s data while testing.
